This was our first time encountering a completely free via ferrata - and the strangest thing is there’s no staff at all. Nobody manages the place, nobody checks whether you have gear, and even if you have nothing, nobody cares - you’re entirely responsible for yourself. If needed, gear can be rented at a nearby caving shop.
