WISE Fee Structure

🏦
Local Bank WISE
FREE
Adding money to WISE from your local bank via bank transfer (DuitNow/Manual) usually costs nothing.
💸
WISE WISE
FREE / MINIMAL
Sending money between WISE accounts in the same currency is free. If different currencies, only FX fee applies.
💱
Currency A Currency B
VARIABLE %
WISE charges a transparent percentage fee for mid-market rate exchanges. Volume doesn't affect rate, fee is proportional.
🏧
WISE Local Bank
FIXED FEE
Withdrawing from WISE back to a bank account usually incurs a small fixed fee (e.g., RM 2.02 or 0.50 GBP).

💡 Volume Matters: Since this is a fixed fee, it eats into small transfers (low value). It is better to withdraw large amounts at once to make this fee negligible.

Malaysia Hack: Zero-Fee Wise to Bank

Traditionally, withdrawing RM from Wise to a Malaysian bank account costs about RM 2.02. Here is how to do it for FREE using TNG eWallet.

1

Prepare TNG eWallet

Make sure your GO+ Quick Cash In is disabled to prevent TNG from automatically using your balance for investments:

  1. Open TNG eWallet
  2. Tap on GO+
  3. Open Settings (3 dots/gear icon)
  4. Disable Quick Cash In

The Transfer Trick

Instead of “Withdrawing” from Wise, you “Top Up” TNG using your Wise Debit Card.

  1. In TNG eWallet, tap Reload
  2. Select eWallet Balance
  3. Choose Debit Card
  4. Use your Wise Visa/Mastercard details
  5. Reload the exact amount you want to move
  6. Once reloaded, use DuitNow Transfer in TNG to send the money to your bank account for free.
